The closing ceremony of the “New Opportunities” training program for participants in the special military operation took place in Rostov-on-Don, at the “Center of True Values”, the press service of the regional administration reported on June 17 .
More than 20 people completed the course. All of them are former members of the SVO from different settlements of the Rostov region (Rostov-on-Don, Novocherkassk, Novoshakhtinsk, Krasny Sulin, etc.).
The project aims to help soldiers who returned to the Northern Military Region to adapt socially. The program lasted two months. The course includes theoretical, practical and individual lessons on the main areas of entrepreneurial activity, including the status of a social enterprise. At the end of the program, participants presented their business projects.
“Besides the basics, we helped program participants eliminate potential risks so they wouldn’t have any problems in the beginning. Furthermore, our regional measures of financial support for them turned out to be very successful.””said Deputy Governor of the Rostov Region Alexander Scriabin.
He stressed that this experience can be extended to all of Russia at the federal level.
