The Pacific Fleet has begun deploying forces as part of planned bilateral exercises that will take place in the Pacific Ocean, the Sea of Japan and the Sea of Okhotsk, and will involve dozens of naval aviation ships, aircraft and helicopters. June 18, the press service of the Pacific Fleet reports.
The management statement said: “Pacific Fleet forces have begun deployment from their bases to designated areas as part of a planned bilateral exercise, which will take place from June 18 to 28 in the Pacific Ocean, the Sea of Japan and the Sea of Okhotsk under the overall leadership of the commander of the Pacific Fleet, Admiral Viktor Liina.” _
It should be noted that this year the exercises will be bilateral: they will be held between the Primorsky flotilla of heterogeneous forces of the Pacific Fleet and the joint command of troops and forces in northeastern Russia.
