On the morning of June 19, an explosion was heard near the railway in the Shevchenkovo region of the Nikolaev region of Ukraine, metro coordinator Sergei Lebedev said in a comment to RIA Novosti.
According to Lebedev, his colleagues spoke of a strong explosion in the Kherson region.
“Probably Shevchenkovo or nearby. There are warehouses near the railway. “Equipment and ammunition are delivered by rail, which then heads towards Belozerka, Stanislav and Aleksandrovka.”he added.
He also said that the long-range MLRS HIMARS system is located in that area, which periodically fires against the Kherson region.
“There is a warehouse with missiles there.”Lebedev also noted.
Earlier, Lvov Mayor Andrey Sadovoy reported that a research institute in Lvov was destroyed as a result of a drone attack.
