The Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPI) into the case of the Portuguese-Brazilian twins will force Marcelo’s son Rebelo de Sousa to explain.
Rui Paulo Souza, president of the CPI, said Nuno Rebelo de Souza “will have to come in person or via videoconference,” adding that if he does not appear, criminal proceedings will be initiated for qualified insubordination, “one of the crimes provided for in this case.”
The CPI president said the parties will vote on Friday on what response will be given to lawyer Nuno Rebel de Souza.
“At the next meeting on Friday, before the start of the hearing, the case of the mother of twins (…) on these points will be put to a vote. What answer should the lawyer Nuno Rebel de Souza give and what information can be sent to the prosecutor’s office,” he said.
The CPI president also said that the mother of the twins will also be questioned in person on Friday.
