The developers of the Kazakh Chat GPT (a chatbot with generative artificial intelligence) plan to create it in December, Kazakh Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Zhaslan Madiev told reporters on June 21.
“I would like these models to reflect the particularities of our culture and the correct translation of the Kazakh language corpus and words in the original Kazakh language is being compiled.”– he said.
Madiev added that texts from Russian and Kazakh are also translated for the chatbot, which creates the basis on which the model will be trained. According to the minister, sponsors were found for the project, which was a surprise. It is planned to open access to the national GPT Chat in Kazakhstan.
The head of the department noted that the capacity with which the Kazakh chatbot model will work is also important. This will require support as up to 50 thousand users are expected to access simultaneously.
