A 63-year-old man died this Friday in a collision between a motorcycle and a tractor on Estrada Nacional 8 (EN8) in Casal do Pardo, municipality of Alcobaça, Leiria district, a civil protection source told Lusa.
The alarm came at 19:35 due to a collision between a motorcycle and a tractor, a source in the Western Sub-Regional Command explained.
The accident, which occurred in Casal do Pardo, Alfeizerao, in the municipality of Alcobaça, killed one person, a 63-year-old man who was riding a motorcycle, he added.
According to him, death was confirmed at the scene by the Caldas da Rainha Ambulance and Reanimation Team (VMER).
Members of the São Martinho do Porto fire department and GNR were also at the scene and took responsibility for the incident.
