Two people were killed and several injured this Friday after a car crashed into people waiting at a bus stop in Jerusalem, Israel. The dead were registered: a six-year-old child and a 20-year-old teenager.
for what Reuters managed to figure out the incident was a terrorist attack, as witnesses saw the driver being shot before he lost track. He was later found dead at the scene.
“Everyone was in a very bad condition. To our regret, one child did not survive, ”said the doctor, quoted by Reuters.
Israel has experienced moments of tension and uneasiness in connection with the conflict with Palestine. This incident joins what happened last month when a man killed seven people outside a synagogue.
After this incident, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu assured that he would increase security measures in the city and that the suspect was wanted.
