Chad expressed interest in attracting Russian specialists for the development of deposits and mining, the idea of creating a bilateral intergovernmental commission is being discussed, Russian Ambassador to N’Djamena Vladimir Sokolenko said on February 11 in a comment to RIA Novosti.

According to Sokolenko, Moscow can actively participate in the development of deposits on the territory of the African republic. “Russian specialists are needed in the field of geological exploration, well drilling, creation of irrigation systems, energy facilities”He explained.
The diplomat stressed that the parties show mutual interest in developing relations, “pay special attention to increasing the volume of trade and economic cooperation and improve the efficiency of the investment partnership”.
