
A mobile anti-epizootic team will be created to ensure biological safety in the Vologda region, the press service of the government of the Vologda region reported on June 27.
“The decision was made to create a consolidated anti-epizootic detachment. Its objective is the timely diagnosis of diseases, their rapid elimination and the prevention of their further spread, maintaining stable the epizootic well-being of the region. For the logistical support of the detachment we will allocate 85 million rubles from the regional budget.” – stated acting governor Georgy Filimonov.
The detachment will be supplied with special clothing and personal protective equipment, will receive equipment for carrying out veterinary and sanitary measures, technical means and tools.
“From July 1, 2024, we will begin a gradual increase in salaries for employees of the state veterinary service. On average, salaries for this category will increase by 34%.” – said the head of the region.
It is planned to spend 18 million rubles from the regional budget to increase the salaries of veterinarians.
