The Fjoines Fire Department organized an introductory workshop on off-road driving of passenger vehicles. The event brought together 138 participants, including representatives of 32 corporations and Red Cross specialists. The initiative was carried out in collaboration with the National Emergency Management and Civil Protection Authority (ANEPC) of the Porto Metropolitan Region and the National Fire School (ENB).
The seminar was divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part included four panels presented by speakers from the National School of Firefighters (ENB): Carlos Ramalho, José Vieira, António Proença and Vitor Mourato. Among the various topics discussed were “Importance of Safety in Off-Road Driving”, “Safety in the PEVACO Cab”, “Safety in STOPD Recognition” and “Technical Checks”.
