Israeli Air Force planes attacked the Hamas headquarters in the Gaza Strip, located on the school grounds, on June 27, the IDF press service reported.
“The IDF attacked terrorists located in the Khan Yunis school complex, which served as the headquarters of Hamas terrorists, from where they directed terrorist operations against our forces.”says the message.
It is not reported how many militants were on the school grounds. The statement says that the attack “It was carefully planned and carried out using precision weapons”to avoid civilian casualties.
No other details of the operation were revealed.
According to the Gaza Health Ministry, 47 people were killed and 52 injured by Israeli strikes in the strip over the past 24 hours. The total number of losses on the Palestinian side since October 7 last year exceeds 37.7 thousand people. More than 86 thousand were injured.
