The “Train of Memory” arrived on June 28, 2024 at the Vologda station, the press service of the government of the Vologda region reported on June 28.
“Memory Train” is a unique project that brings together young people from different countries to study common history. In Vologda, children will find a rich program, within which they will be able to learn more about the history of the Vologda region, its attractions and famous inhabitants. I am sure that all the project participants will make new friends and take home a lot of impressions and new knowledge about our great country. All the best, do sports, be strong!” — Deputy Governor of the Vologda region Alexandr Povetkin greeted the participants in the action.
Schoolchildren will visit the Vologda Museum-Reserve, the Museum of Childhood, the museum of the Vologda Search Team, where they will get acquainted with the work of search engines and see the exhibits found at the battle sites.
Let us remember that the cultural and educational project “Memory Train” is dedicated to preserving the memory of the Great Patriotic War. In 2024, 200 students from Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will participate in the project.
