Russia will continue to supply the world markets with the necessary goods, despite the opposition of the European Union, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova told reporters in connection with the adoption of the 14th package of sanctions against Russia, the Russian Foreign Ministry service reported on June 28.
When commenting on the latest restrictive measures adopted by the European Union, Zajárova highlighted their illegality. A representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry described the sanctions imposed against Russian courts as “piracy.”
“It is obvious that the EU’s actions, taken formally against Russia, also affect third countries, destabilise global commodity markets and undermine the energy security of developing countries.”– Zakharova said.
“However, the European Union is simply indifferent to the interests of others”concludes the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
Meanwhile, most countries in the world, including Russia’s BRICS partners, consider any sanctions not approved by the UN Security Council to be contrary to international law and illegitimate, Zakharova stressed.
“Russian Federation– said the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, – “Despite the obstacles imposed by the European Union, we will continue our efforts to supply world markets with in-demand products, including energy resources, fertilizers and food.”.
