The verdict was scheduled for this Friday in the case of 22-year-old Mariana Carrillo, accused of killing Nuria Gomes outside a nightclub in Albufeira, in the Faro district.
The facts date back to April 2023, when two young women got into a fight outside a nightclub, resulting in Nuria Gomes being stabbed and dying shortly after.
Mariana Carrillo is charged with aggravated murder, and her boyfriend at the time of the events, Jose Miguel Oliveira, 21, is responsible for crimes against physical integrity and personal favoritism, allegedly for trying to get rid of a weapon. white.
The accused, who is in pre-trial detention, arrived at the Portimao court at around 2pm today in a van with a mobile phone and left shortly after prison guards were informed that the hearing would not take place.
The Justice Workers’ Union (SOJ) has declared an indefinite strike after failing to reach an agreement in negotiations with the Justice Ministry.
