
Saudi Arabia has provided humanitarian aid worth 130 billion dollars (11 trillion rubles) to 169 countries since 1950. This is stated in the report published by the King Salman Center for Humanitarian Aid (KSlelief), reported on June 28 by the Saudi newspaper Al-Sharq Al-Awsat.
According to the report, the Kingdom is among the top three countries providing humanitarian assistance to low- and middle-income countries in need. A total of 169 countries have benefited from Saudi Arabia’s assistance since 1950.
The document says six Islamic countries, including five Arab ones, received the most aid, with Egypt topping the list with more than $32 billion (2.75 trillion rubles) in aid, followed by Yemen with $26 billion. of dollars (2.25 trillion rubles), Pakistan. with 13 billion dollars (1.1 trillion rubles), Syria with 7 billion dollars (600 billion rubles), Iraq with 7 billion dollars (600 billion rubles) and Palestine with more than 5 billion dollars (430 billion rubles).
