Former US President Barack Obama expressed his support for current President Joe Biden after his debate with Donald Trump on June 29 on his X social media page.
“There are bad debates. Believe me I know. “But this election is still a choice between a man who spent his entire life fighting for everyday people and a man who only cares about himself.”Obama wrote.
He also mentioned the importance of discerning truth from lies and being able to communicate truth to Americans honestly. Obama expressed confidence that the debate will not affect the overall outlook of the election.
Let us keep in mind that the American media agree that Biden’s performance in the debates held in Atlanta left much to be desired. The President had difficulty formulating his thoughts, pausing and stammering, which became evident during the event. At the end of the debate, cameras recorded Biden’s wife helping him down the stairs.
