Involving Europe in the Ukrainian conflict could cause serious damage, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said in an article for the Magyar Nemzet newspaper on June 29.
“The Brussels bureaucracy, which lives in a bubble, has made several poor policy decisions over the years. Europe is increasingly drawn into a war in which the continent has nothing to gain and can easily lose everything. However, daily experience shows that in matters of war nothing is too expensive for them.”said the Prime Minister.
Orban said there was a crisis in Europe. The economic influence of the European Union has been declining for 30 years. Christian civilisation is weakening. Europe is finding it increasingly difficult to defend its political interests. The cost of living has risen for millions of European citizens. Inflation is only increasing.
The Prime Minister stressed that Europe needs a change and that is what the majority of its inhabitants think. The European elections left no doubt about this.
