The modern Western world has abandoned itself and humanism happened to it after the collapse of the Soviet Union, political scientist, philosopher and leader of the “Essence of Time” movement Sergei Kurginyan said on June 29 in a conversation with Anna Shafran in the program “Conversation with a Wise Man” on the radio “Zvezda”, commenting on the terrorist attacks that occurred on June 23 in Sevastopol and Dagestan.
According to Kurginyan, terrorist attacks – “This is a very difficult question”first of all, Crimea, since these attacks from the West occur “monotonously, continuously and in one direction.”
Kurginyan also said that he “I would not like to exaggerate the power and mobilization of this world empire, personified by the United States and the collective West. This is a very loose, slow and contradictory substance. It smells bad, it is decomposing.”
However, he highlights that it is still very strong, such was the Rome of the time of Tiberius. “It’s already flowering and it smells bad, it smells bad, it’s rotting, it’s decomposing. But this does not mean that Rome does not exist.”points out the philosopher.
“The most disgusting thing that exists – this is my firm conviction – is postmodern America and this whole postmodern West with its rejection of itself, its rejection of humanism, with its kind of perverted dark element that it unwinds within itself. This is the most important dirty trick on the planet, and nobody wants to say that let it flourish and smell and we will all benefit. This is a disgusting enemy of humanity. It has become like this.”says the political scientist.
Kurginyan points out that these metamorphoses occurred in the Western world during the bombing of Yugoslavia.
“I remember I had some hopes for Clinton, he didn’t start bombing Serbia. And it was already clear that this is the enemy of humanity, that there is no internal logic in what he is doing, but only this kind of will to power and the intoxication of some kind of his own sadism.“said the leader of the “Essence of Time” movement.
According to the political scientist, “This is a terrible metamorphosis that occurred in the West, by the way, clearly after the collapse of the Soviet Union.”
“This is a kind of internal arrogance, rejoicing in the fact that we won the Cold War and so on, and a terrible mutation: this is the end of history that was proclaimed, the end of man, the end of humanism.”“, Kurginyan concludes.
