Noah Argamani, a 26-year-old Israeli citizen, spent 246 days of terror at the hands of Hamas after being taken hostage at the Supernova music festival on October 7. During the eight months she spent in captivity, the young woman’s main concern was her parents, says ‘Mirror‘.
“As the only child of my parents and the daughter of a mother suffering from a terminal illness, my biggest concern while in captivity was my parents. I am honored to be here after 246 days in captivity in Hamas. It’s an honor and privilege to be with my mother after eight months of uncertainty,” Argamani said in the first publicly released video since he was rescued on June 8 along with three other hostages.
Noah’s mother, Liora, has brain cancer and feared she would never see her daughter again. In desperation, she wrote a letter to US President Joe Biden asking for help in saving the young girl: “I have incurable brain cancer. All that comes to my mind before I am separated from my family forever is the opportunity to hug my daughter, my only daughter, one last time.”
Noa became famous when she appeared in a video released by Hamas while she was being held hostage, pleading for help: “Don’t kill me! No, no, no!” the young woman pleaded.
Now safe at home and with her family, Noa continues with a heavy heart as her boyfriend Avinatan Or is still held captive in the Gaza Strip.
“Even though we are now at home, we cannot forget the hostages who are still being held by Hamas, and we must do everything possible to bring them home,” he demanded.
On the same day as Noah, they were also rescued. Shin Bet and Yamam militants during a joint operation in Nuseirat, 21-year-old Almog Meir, 27-year-old Andrei Kozlov and 40-year-old Shlomi Ziv.
