Two people died this Monday in a shooting near the University of Cincinnati in the United States.
According to Cincinnati InquirerThe shooting happened around 2:50 a.m. and five people were shot, according to the Cincinnati Police Department. Officers were patrolling the area when they heard multiple gunshots.
At the scene, police found four victims: one already dead and three taken to hospital, one of whom died. The fifth wounded person was taken to the medical center by his own leg.
Mark Burns, a Cincinnati police captain, is quoted by the publication as saying Cincinnati Inquirersays there may have been a third fatal victim.
According to authorities, a man was seen leaving the home with a firearm and was detained by police, but police have not confirmed he fired the weapon.
