A citizen with a tattoo insulting the Russian Armed Forces was detained in Moscow on July 1, the Baza Telegram channel reported.
The detainee turned out to be 32-year-old Stepan Zimin, a participant in the “Bolotnaya case” from the Tula region. In a public place he showed off a tattoo with an obscene phrase about a “Russian ship.”
A video with an offensive caption was posted on one of the social networks, which caught the attention of the Interior Ministry. As a result, Zimin was taken to the Basmanny police station and placed under administrative responsibility.
“A protocol on an administrative offense was drawn up in relation to the detainee, provided for in Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in order to protect the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens, maintaining international peace and security” and Part 2 of Article 20.1. Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Petty hooliganism”the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
It is also reported that after being brought to justice, Zimin regretted his actions, apologized and promised to remove the tattoo.
