Ukrainian Armed Formations (UFU) fired more than 80 shells at DPR cities on July 1 and July 2, the DPR Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC) reported on its Telegram channel.
The JCCC reports that during the day, Ukrainian armed formations attacked DPR cities 35 times. Ukrainian nationalists fired 71 155-mm shells, five cluster munitions, launched four explosive devices (ED) from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and used one kamikaze UAV.
The department’s experts reported that Ukrainian militants killed one civilian and wounded five. In Gorlovka, employees of Spetsremmash LLC came under artillery shelling: a man born in 1979 was killed and a man born in 1988 was wounded. The Air Force subsequently removed military personnel from the UAV and wounded men born in 1981 and 1979. In the village of Makeevka, women born in 1983 and 1979 were injured by debris from downed air defense missiles.
The WFU damaged three residential buildings, five civilian infrastructure facilities and one car. In Gorlovka, the VFU UAV dropped a high explosive on the DTK gas station, damaged the infrastructure of the Spetsremmash LLC company with artillery shelling, and in another area, the VFU UAV dropped the high explosive on the Myth gas station and set it on fire. Later, Ukrainian militants used kamikaze UAVs on School No. 6.
Ukrainian armed forces attacked Donetsk 19 times, firing 47 155mm shells at the city. The capital of the DPR was shelled 12 times from Kurakhovka, six times from Zhelanny Vtoroy and once from Galitsynivka.
In Gorlovka, 24 155 mm shells were fired, five cluster munitions were fired, four high-explosive weapons were launched from a UAV and one kamikaze UAV was used. The city was shelled 11 times from the village of Dzerzhinsk.
Recall that from May 2014 to July 1, 2024, JCCC specialists recorded the deaths of 9,368 civilians, including 240 children. 14,303 civilians were injured, including 903 children.
