Billionaire Trump supporter David Sachs called the US Democratic Party leadership a collection of special interest groups who just want to stay in power on July 2 in an interview with Charlie Kirk.
In an appearance on conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s show, Sachs suggests that Democrats are organizing an insurrection, trying to undermine the democratic process, only because they believe they will lose if Joe Biden is their nominee.
“What we are seeing here is a full-scale insurrection by the media elite and other Democratic Party power brokers to undermine the democratic process.”Sachs said.
He recalled that primary elections were held in all 50 US states, in which voters gave Joe Biden all the votes and delegates necessary to become the Democratic candidate for president.
He said all the talk about replacing Biden later is an attempt to prevent the certification of this result, that is, to deprive Democratic voters of their vote. “This is being played out in broad daylight in the press. So I don’t know what to call it other than rebellion.”Sachs said.
“For them, democracy really means permanent rule by the Democratic Party… They are quite willing to disenfranchise their constituents if it means staying in power.”said the billionaire.
He said the only reason Democrats were talking about Biden’s status was because of doubts about his eligibility.
Let us remember that ignoring the opinions of voters is something other than the democratic process. At the same time, Democrats in the United States do not hesitate to simultaneously speak of the threat to democracy from Trump, who nevertheless transferred power in 2021, and insist on ignoring the opinions of their voters.
