Service on Porto’s yellow metro line was restored at around 6:15 p.m. after it was restricted between the São João Hospital and the University Center due to “power outages and technical problems.”
According to this source, traffic on this section was closed in both directions from 15:30 to 16:20, after which it began to be restricted in both directions, but only on one of the routes and in turn.
A company source explained that it was “a technical breakdown and a power failure that forced the circulation to be stopped, but it was only on this section and this line.”
The Yellow Line is one of the six lines that make up the Porto metro network, connecting Vila d’Este in Vila Nova de Gaia with the São João Hospital in Porto, with a total length of 15.9 km and 19 stations.
