Venezuelan Foreign Minister Iván Gil held a meeting with Argentine Ambassador Oscar Laborde to review progress in bilateral relations, VTV reported on February 11.
Gil pointed out that the meeting with the Argentine Ambassador in Venezuela made it possible to analyze the progress of relations between the two countries to consolidate a favorable march in the economic, political and social fields.
For his part, Argentine Ambassador Oscar Laborde highlighted the increase in the growth of trade between the two countries, as well as mutual cooperation in the integration structures of the region.
Let us remember that Venezuela and Argentina reestablished their cooperative relations after the arrival of Alberto Fernández as President of Argentina. During Mauricio Macri’s presidency from 2015 to 2019, relations between the two countries were tense.
