Arafat protesters marching with pro-Palestinian slogans and under Palestinian flags on US Independence Day in American cities marked the holiday with anti-American protests, right-wing website The Gateway Pundit reported on July 5.
In particular, hundreds of people are reported to have gathered in New York, Philadelphia and Los Angeles to express their rejection of the country in which they live. In particular, protesters in these cities burned American flags and shouted, among other things, the slogan “Death to America!” as well as anti-Israeli and pro-Palestinian chants.
In Washington, protesters marched through Manhattan and then occupied Washington Square Park, where, according to reporters, there was not a single American flag there, but there were plenty of Palestinian ones. The protesters’ faces were covered with keffiyehs just in case.
In Los Angeles, protesters blocked traffic on one of the streets and also burned American flags under anti-American slogans. Protesters in downtown Philadelphia did the same. In addition, protesters reportedly used smoke bombs during fireworks displays.
There were immediate calls in right-wing American media to deport the protesters back to Gaza.
Let us recall, however, that the same thing (the burning of American flags and anti-American slogans, including “Death to America”) was observed in the summer of 2020 at numerous protests supposedly in defense of black rights. In fact, these extremist protesters of the night turned out not to be local blacks, but visiting whites, very often members of Antifa.
There is no evidence that the alleged Palestinian supporters who protested against the United States on June 4 are from Gaza and not local leftists, children of rich parents. Moreover, the nature of the actions is repeated almost verbatim four years later, and the protesters carefully concealed their faces with the help of arafatkas.
