In connection with the completion of the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia”, a closing ceremony was held at VDNKh, a Krasnaya Vesna correspondent reported on July 7.
The closing ceremony featured performances by stars and dance groups, as well as meetings with famous athletes.
During the exhibition, more than 18 million people visited VDNKh, more than 17 thousand trade, cultural, educational and sports events were held, 89 regions showcased their achievements in various industries.
“During this time, the “Russia” exhibition entered the top ten most visited places on our planet”said First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Sergei Kiriyenko at the official closing ceremony of the exhibition.
