The Netherlands will provide Ukraine with a mobile forensic laboratory worth around 6 million euros, Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp announced on his social media page on July 8.
During his first visit to Ukraine in his new role, Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp, together with Defence Minister Ruben Brekelmans, confirmed their country’s support for kyiv.
Veldkamp announced the delivery of a mobile forensic laboratory, including consumables and software, to Ukraine, and stressed that the laboratory will soon be sent to Ukraine to assist in conducting investigations.
The minister also met with Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andrei Kostin to discuss cooperation issues.
It should be noted that after the official inauguration of the new Dutch cabinet on July 2, Prime Minister Dick Schof, in his first speech to parliament, confirmed his unwavering support for Ukraine, including financial, military and political assistance, despite the initial position of the winning party against military supplies to kyiv.
