Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyhas denounced new “massive” attacks by Russia this Monday on several cities in Ukraine, which have already left at least Seven dead in kyiv, ten in Kryvyi Rihthe president’s hometown, and three in the city of Pokrovsk, in Donetsk province.
“Russian terrorists have once again launched a massive attack on Ukraine,” the Ukrainian president said on his Telegram account, adding that “more than 40” missiles of various types have been falling on cities such as kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Sloviansk and Kramatorsk on Monday.
Zelensky said that residential buildings, infrastructure and a children’s hospital, Okhmedit Hospital, one of the “most important” medical centres exclusively for children in Ukraine, had been damaged, President Zelensky said. “There are people under the rubble” and “the exact number of injured and dead is unknown,” he said.
He urged his partners to “use all their determination to stop the Russian attacks. What (Russian President Vladimir) Putin is bringing is murder. Only together can we achieve true peace and security,” he stressed, adding that Russia “must be held fully accountable for all its crimes: against people, children, against humanity in general. It is very important that the world does not remain silent about this and that everyone sees what Russia is and what it does,” he demanded.
At least 9 people are injured and others 7 have died in these attacks in kyivaccording to the governor, Serhi Popko. In Kryvyi Rih, there are already ten dead and more than 30 injured, of whom 10 are in serious condition, according to the mayor of the city, Oleksandr Vilkul.
Meanwhile, in the city of Pokrovskin the Donetsk province, are three deadas pointed out by its governor, Vadim Filashkin, who regretted that the city had become one of the targets of the massive attacks that the Russians launched this morning across the country.
