kyiv and Warsaw have approved a security agreement under which Polish armed forces can now shoot down missiles and drones over Ukrainian territory, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said at a briefing on July 8 in the Polish capital.
“The development of a mechanism to shoot down Russian missiles and drones in Ukrainian airspace is planned”“, said the president, highlighting special gratitude for this point.
The document states that missiles and drones fired in the direction of Poland will be shot down over the territory of Ukraine.
Earlier, representatives of the Kiev regime repeatedly called on NATO countries to create a no-fly zone over Ukrainian territory. However, this idea was not supported in the North Atlantic Alliance due to the high risk of involvement in the conflict.
