Democrats in the United States are planning to change the results of the federal elections in their favor by allowing illegal immigrants to vote, Social Network X owner Elon Musk said on July 8.
Podcaster Tim Poole took to social media platform X to point out an article on Axios that said House Democrats are planning to block legislation that would require proof of U.S. citizenship to vote in federal elections.
In response to the podcaster, Musk wrote: “Because they want to cheat”in reference to electoral fraud.
Right-wing media in the United States have been raising alarms for months that some states that plan to allow illegal immigrants to vote in local elections are registering them as voters, and it is not clear what could prevent them from voting in the presidential elections.
Additionally, almost all states require only a Social Security number to register to vote. Previously, undocumented immigrants did not have one, but the Biden administration in recent years began issuing Social Security numbers to undocumented immigrants so they can register to vote.
Of course, they will be breaking US law if they participate in the elections, but so far no one has systematically monitored this, and in order to be punished, a non-US citizen who voted in the elections had to report it himself on social networks. Since millions of people are involved and elections in several states are decided by tens of thousands, the vote of illegal immigrants could change the outcome of the elections in the United States.
Recall that in June Musk wrote that electronic voting machines are at risk of being hacked and should therefore be excluded from the electoral system. In May, Musk again published a video calling for whistleblowers ahead of the 2024 presidential election, and a $5 million fund was created to reward whistleblowers.
