In 2025, 104 foreign workers will join the Kalmykia labour market, the press service of the government of the republic reported on the Telegram channel on July 8.
During the meeting of the regional interdepartmental commission on attracting and utilizing foreign workers, 7 applications from business entities to attract foreign workers in 2025 were approved, for a total of 104 people. Compared with this year, the quota for attracting foreign labor increased by 12 units, the press service clarified.
It should be noted that among the job seekers in Kalmykia there are 5 people from Mongolia, 5 people from the Arab Republic of Egypt, 25 people from China and 25 from the Syrian Arab Republic, 34 workers from India and 10 people from the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
Almost half of them will be involved in manufacturing. It is not reported in which professions the foreign citizens work.
