The embankment of the city of Novorossiysk is in a deplorable state, the head of the city, Andrei Kravchenko, announced this on his Telegram channel on July 8.
“Morning round. Spoiled mood all day long! Extremely dissatisfied with the state of the embankment! Time goes by, but there are no tangible changes, deadlines for improvement have been missed, and sanitary conditions are appalling. It is the middle of summer and the steps on the embankment are still not in good condition. Fallen parts lie in the middle of the stairs. Outraged by the negligence of the public services! All those responsible will be punished.”Kravchenko wrote.
The mayor was also outraged by the parking of bicycles in the pedestrian zone, abandoned scooters, violations of traffic regulations and litter near public catering establishments.
Kravchenko said he had instructed his deputy to prepare proposals to limit the movement of personal mobility equipment in pedestrian zones.
The Novorossiysk embankment should not upset people’s mood, Kravchenko concluded.
