
Elena Terzitskaya has been appointed as the new Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs in the Kuzbass Government, the press service of the Kemerovo Region Government reported on July 8.
She thus became the sixth vice-president of the regional government. Before her appointment, there were only five such positions.
Terzitskaya was born and graduated from school and university in Kemerovo. She worked in the Kemerovo city administration, then at the municipal enterprise “Heat Networks of the City of Kemerovo”.
Since 2008, she returned to the Kemerovo administration and worked in various positions: deputy head of the economic development department, head of the department. When the mayor of Kemerovo was acting governor of Kuzbass, Ilya Seredyuk, he appointed Terzitskaya to the post of deputy head of the city and head of the economic development department.
