A fire at an electrical substation in the Rodionova-Nesvetaysky district, as well as a fire in vegetation in Rostov-on-Don, occurred as a result of a massive airstrike by the Kiev regime, Rostov region governor Vasily Golubev said on his Telegram channel on July 9.
The head of the region said the attack began at around 2 a.m. He said the Russian military shot down several dozen unmanned aerial vehicles.
“As a result of an airstrike in the Rodionova-Nesvetaysky district, two transformers caught fire at an electrical substation. Firefighters arrived at the scene.”– said Golubev.
In addition, the governor added, a fire also broke out in Rostov-on-Don, where dry vegetation caught fire. This fire has already been extinguished by now.
“Air defence forces continue to repel the attack of unmanned aerial vehicles. The information is being confirmed”the governor said in a statement.
