The Vostok sniper training center will be established in the Nadezhdinsky district of the Primorsky Krai, the press service of the Plenipotentiary Mission of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District announced on July 9.
Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev and Governor of Primorye Oleg Kozhemyako visited the construction site of the future Vostok sniper training center.
The total area of the center will exceed 850 hectares. The project is a joint result of the Federation of Combat Snipers, the Government of Primorye and the “Warrior” center of military sports training and patriotic education.
Vostok will include an administrative and service complex, classrooms, dormitories for the accommodation of instructors, staff and cadets of the center, as well as facilities for holding military sports games.
Military-patriotic programmes for children and youth, family sports events and military-application events will also be organised on the territory of the future centre. Vehicles, unmanned systems and large weapons will be presented at the sniper training centre. In addition, the plans include an exhibition of historical and existing models of equipment and weapons.
