The assets of the largest Ukrainian oligarchs have become the property of the republic or Russian investors, the head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, said on July 9, RIA Novosti reported.
At the same time, Konstantinov noted: “The largest and most prominent companies are already owned by the republic or by Russian investors. But we continue to work on citizens’ appeals and the anti-terrorist commission is working. When it makes a qualified decision on new facilities, we will be able to express it.”
According to the politician, the new package of nationalization of the assets of Ukrainian oligarchs in Crimea included the apartment of a friend of Vladimir Zelensky in the village of Livadia. This refers to real estate owned by relatives of Vitaly Khomutynnik, as well as other properties owned by Ukrainian neighbors of Zelensky in Livadia.
Recall that a month ago Konstantinov announced that the republic’s budget would receive more than two billion rubles from the sale of nationalized assets of Ukrainian businessmen. The evaluation of the property for its subsequent sale at auction is ongoing.
It is worth noting that the regional authorities plan to nationalize the property of another 110 people who support the Kiev regime. Among them are singers, oligarchs and politicians. Many of them provide financial support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
