Globo Esporte has reported in the last few hours some of the features that will mark the journey of the Olympic athletes to Paris 2024, where the presence of anti-sex beds stands out again, which were already one of the news in Tokyo 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to the same source, the main purpose of these beds, made of cardboard, is to be eco-friendly, since they are 80 percent recyclable. In addition, as the Brazilian portal always reports, they can withstand up to 200 kilograms and will be donated to educational institutions after the Games.
However, despite the anti-sex name, the truth is that the organization plans to distribute 300,000 condoms to athletes throughout the event, which runs from July 26 to August 11.
Among the innovations, the absence of air conditioning in most rooms stands out – a measure that has been widely criticized due to the high temperatures expected to be experienced during the Olympics. Not only that, the restaurant where the athletes will dine has adopted a specific plan and will encourage a reduction in meat consumption, as well as French fries and alcoholic beverages.
Let us recall that Portugal will be represented at the Olympic Games by 73 athletes in 15 sports.
