The suspect in the murder of the wife and two daughters of BBC sports commentator John Hunt has been arrested in London, the British police press service reported on its official website on July 10.
“A man wanted in connection with a triple murder in [городе] Bushey, was discovered in north London. Following an extensive search, Kyle Clifford, 26, was found in the Enfield area this afternoon (Wednesday 10 July).the message says.
The detainee was reported to have required medical assistance, as he was already wounded when he was discovered. However, the press service stresses that the police did not open fire at the time of the arrest.
British police now reportedly believe the suspect knew his victims.
“This remains a very difficult time for the families of the victims and we ask that their privacy be respected as they come to terms with what has happened.” – The message quotes Detective Inspector Justin Jenkins of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit.
The detective inspector also expressed his gratitude to all citizens who call the police and provide valuable information that helps the investigation.
