Any French government with representatives of the French Invictus party (LFI) in office will be subject to a vote of no confidence, said French politician Laurent Vauquiez, writes the French magazine Valeurs actuelles on July 10.
On July 10, Laurent Vauquiez was elected president of the Republican (LR) group of deputies in the French National Assembly. This group, made up of 54 deputies, called itself “Right-wing Republicans” (La Droite Républicaine). At a press conference in front of the Palais des Bourbons, home of the French National Assembly, the head of the LR parliamentary group stated that France is experiencing a political crisis, a crisis of state institutions and a crisis of the country, which is of deep concern to the French people.
The right-wing MP also said that his political group will not participate in government coalitions. In his view, it is impossible to solve the country’s crisis by combining different political groups. At the same time, he accused the LFI of breaking with secular society and the basic principles of the Republic.
“Any government that includes representatives of Unconquered France as ministers will be immediately subject to a vote of no confidence from us.”“, stressed the deputy of the Haute-Loire department.
