The young men from the “8700” group (Olhão postcode), who are on trial in the Faro court for violent attacks on immigrants, homeless people and a student, also harassed and threatened the young man’s mother. The woman questioned the group and threatened to file a complaint with the PSP.
One of the accused took a knife out of his pocket, the other went for a stick, and both threatened her.
“From now on, your son will take even more,” says the indictment, which brought four minors to trial.
“Either you withdraw your complaint or you and your son will have problems,” the young men told the woman, who from that moment on began to be followed during her usual walk at the end of the day.
According to the prosecution, “they threw stones at him and ordered him to withdraw the complaint with expressions such as: ‘If I get into trouble because of this complaint, you will see.'”
