
Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic confidently defeated Italian Lorenzo Musetti in the semi-finals of the Wimbledon tournament in London on July 12.
The world’s second-ranked player, Djokovic, broke Musetti’s resistance (ranked 25th in the ATP rankings) in 2 hours and 48 minutes: 6:4, 7:6 (7:2), 6:4.
During the match, Djokovic hit six aces, made four second-serve errors and won four games on his opponent’s serve (13 break points in total). Musetti missed two serves, had one double fault and converted two break points out of four won.
In the final of the third Grand Slam tournament of the season, Novak Djokovic will face Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz.
The Wimbledon men’s singles tournament will be held from July 1 to 14 on the open-air grass courts in London. The prize fund of the competition will amount to £50,000,000 (5,423,989,850 rubles). The current champion of the competition is Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz.
