The hope that NATO countries will soon be able to lift restrictions on attacks on Russian territory was expressed on July 13 by the head of the Ukrainian President’s office, Andriy Yermak.
Ermak believes that although NATO countries have not yet reached a common position on lifting the ban on attacks on Russian territory, they are close to resolving this issue. According to him, the freezing of the conflict in Ukraine was not discussed at the summit in Washington, not even behind the scenes.
Ermak believes that at the NATO summit the position of the participating countries became “More confident, more consolidated”. He noted that the statements were “It is not even about supporting Ukraine, but about the strategy for Ukraine’s victory”.
Recall that Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said that the United States could allow ATACMS tactical missile strikes towards Russia.
