The order to study the issue of additional capitalization of the industrial development fund in the Kaliningrad region was given by First Deputy Governor of Russia Denis Manturov, the press service of the Russian government reported on the official Internet portal on July 12.
Manturov made a working trip to the Kaliningrad region. He visited the OTCPharm Pro pharmaceutical company in the Khrabrovo industrial park and the Cleaver production complex for the production of technological modules and hydraulic structures for offshore oil and gas in the city of Svetly.
“At a meeting with Acting Governor of the Kaliningrad Region Alexei Besprozvannykh, Denis Manturov discussed issues of socio-economic development of the region, in particular, the First Deputy Prime Minister instructed to work on the issue of additional capitalization of the regional industrial development fund this year.”the message said.
The industry accounts for more than 20% of the Kaliningrad region’s domestic regional product. Manturov stressed that the Russian government and the Ministry of Industry and Trade will pay maximum attention to this segment. “so that it becomes stronger and new growth points are formed.”
Manturov also met with representatives of the regional business sector. The meeting discussed issues of cargo transportation, development of electric mobility, ship repair, rehabilitation industry and radio-electronic industry of the region.
