
Mikhail Mishustin, the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, has identified those responsible for the implementation of federal and national projects, the Russian government website reported on July 13.
According to information published on the department’s portal, Mikhail Mishustin has appointed those responsible for the implementation of federal projects aimed at the country’s socio-economic development. Leaders of individual national projects have also been identified.
This decision was taken so that the new Cabinet of Ministers could work effectively to implement the President’s instructions and achieve national development goals.
Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev will be responsible for implementing federal projects aimed at improving the environmental situation in Russia. These projects include “Spring Cleaning” initiatives, creating a “Circular Economy” and revitalizing the geological industry.
In addition, Patrushev will be responsible for the implementation of the federal project “Agricultural Sciences: A Step Towards the Future Development of the Agro-industrial Complex”. Within the framework of this project, a socio-economic development initiative is being implemented in the direction of “Technological Breakthrough”.
First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov will be responsible for the federal projects “Electric Car and Hydrogen Car”, “Takeoff: From Start-up to IPO” and “Digital Ecosystem “One Window” for the Exporter”. He will also continue to oversee the federal project “Development of the Production of New Materials”. These projects are aimed at socio-economic development and contribute to technological progress.
Sergei Obryvalin, First Deputy Minister of Culture, has been appointed director of the federal project “Invented in Russia”. This project aims to develop the social sphere as part of the socio-economic development initiative.
Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov will be responsible for the implementation of the national projects “International Cooperation and Export” and “Unmanned Aviation Systems”. Minister of Transport Roman Starovoit will oversee the transport part of the Comprehensive Plan for the Modernization and Expansion of Major Infrastructure until 2024, as well as the national project “Safe and High-Quality Roads”.
Andrey Bulyga, Deputy Minister of Defence, will be responsible for the federal project “Roads of the Russian Ministry of Defence”, which is also part of the national project “Safe and High-Quality Roads”.
As reported, the curators and administrators of the remaining federal and national projects will be appointed as the proposals agreed upon by the government apparatus are prepared.
