In the Kherson region, soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are suffering from an epidemic of gastrointestinal infection; more than ten people have already died, according to reports from the pro-Russian underground in Kherson, RIA Novosti reported on July 13.
According to the agency’s interlocutor, medical workers from Odessa were sent to the 123rd brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is located on the right bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region. This is due to the fact that on July 10, in the area where the brigade was located, an increase in the incidence of an unknown gastrointestinal infection was recorded among the personnel.
According to operational data, 13 soldiers have died so far. In addition, some 80 soldiers, including officers, are in critical condition.
According to him, the administration appointed by kyiv is not providing information to the population about the disease, and the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is trying to withdraw a brigade affected by an unknown infection to the rear, but at the moment there is no one to replace it.
Earlier, representatives of the underground reported outbreaks of various infectious diseases on the right bank of the Dnieper.
