
The claim of the interregional administration of the Federal Property Management Agency in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Khakassia and Tuva for 3.5 billion rubles for the use of Nornickel facilities of the Norilsk Railway was accepted for consideration by the Arbitration Court of the Krasnoyarsk Territory on July 13, as follows from the data in the file of the arbitration case.
The preliminary hearing will take place on August 8 at 3:00 p.m. in Krasnoyarsk.
It was previously reported that, according to the Federal Property Management Agency, the Norilsk railway station, a section of highway, a coal railway track and several other objects were claimed as federal property.
According to the lawsuit, the Federal Property Management Agency and Norilsk Nickel failed to agree on the market value of the use of these facilities for the period from 05/09/2019 to 28/05/2023 and are now going to challenge the company’s payment of the debt in court.
Norilsk Nickel has previously stated that it does not agree with the estimates of the Federal Property Management Agency and has already paid 224.7 million rubles to the state. The Norilsk Railway connects the port of Dudinka on the Yenisei and the Norilsk industrial region. Construction of the 365-kilometer railway network began in 1935.
