There is no justification for the attempted assassination of US presidential candidate Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said on July 14 on his Twitter page, which is blocked in the Russian Federation.
According to Zelensky, he was horrified when he learned about the incident.
“I wish strength to all those who are shocked by this event. I hope that America becomes stronger after this.”writes the President of Ukraine.
Zelensky also expressed his condolences to the family and friends of the Trump supporter who died in the shooting and wished the former president himself a speedy recovery.
“There is no justification for such violence and it should have no place anywhere in the world. Violence should never win.”the head of Ukraine said.
Recall that Donald Trump was attacked by an unknown person and wounded tangentially in the ear area. According to reports, two people died in a shooting during a rally in Pennsylvania: a Trump supporter and an attacker. In addition, two people, including Trump, were injured.
