An interdepartmental working group has been created in the Rostov region to develop unmanned aerial systems, the press service of the regional governor reported on July 15.
“The working group will promptly resolve issues aimed at the effective implementation of the regional program of the national project “Unmanned Aircraft Systems”, as well as the formation of a regional research and production center for the industry.”the message said.
The group was created by order of Governor Vasily Golubev. It was headed by Deputy Governor Igor Sorokin. The group includes heads of regional ministries and departments, industrial enterprises, academic institutions and the regional chamber of commerce and industry.
Earlier it was reported that the Archipelago intensive design and educational course was held in the Sakhalin region to test domestic solutions in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles. More than 550 people and 120 companies took part in it. The exercises took place in 15 areas: cargo delivery, complex cadastral work, tracking of linear objects, construction sites, water bodies, monitoring of forests, agricultural land, etc.
