The new navigation corridor for T-916 aircraft was agreed upon and put into operation by the Uzaeronavigatsiya center and the Kazaeronavigatsiya RSE, the Uzaeronavigatsiya press service reported on July 12.
“On July 11, 2024, the official publication and commissioning of new sections of the T-916 zonal navigation route took place”– the press service reports.

It is noted that the new air route is 40 km shorter, making it very beneficial for airlines, which save fuel and reduce flight time. Fuel savings are reported to be between 30 and 50 tons per year.
It is noted that the German airline Lufthansa immediately used the new route. In total, more than 30 airlines are expected to fly on the new route every year.
